Luna Spiegel is a Lüneburg-born jazz trombonist and multi-instrumentalist studying for a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Trombone at Hamburg's HfMT, following a Jungstudium (2024–25) and the school's Inklusion @HfMT Art plus certificate program (2025–26). At the 2024 Landeswettbewerb Jugend Jazzt Hamburg she won a guest-soloist appearance with the NDR Bigband. She has held trombone chairs in youth jazz orchestras across five German states, and toured China with the Landesjugendjazzorchester Hamburg in April 2026. Competition results include 1st Prize at the Landeswettbewerb Jugend Jazzt Hessen (2023, 24 points) and 1st Prize with distinction at the Landeswettbewerb Jugend Jazzt Hamburg (2025, 23 points). Alongside her jazz work, she plays in the pop-rock band Rockytrio.
